    Have you noticed them

Here is the continue of the previous article about the putting factors.

Take away – square to square and straight.
The perfect take away should to be on line and square to the ball-target line, otherwise there’s room to make errors.

If the Ping G5i Craz-E Putter is open on the way back it means that it must return to square at precisely the right time to propel the ball down the line. Alternatively, if you’re square on the back swing Golf Putter, square at contact and square on the follow through you don’t have to rely on perfect timing to get the ball to stay on line.

But square to square on an out to in or an in to out path will still put a bias on the ball, so you need a putting stroke that’s square to square and on line throughout. It’s only when you can achieve a stroke that is square to square and on line that the ball starts where you expect and continues where you expect.

If you pick the Odyssey White Hot XG Sabertooth Putter up on the take away you inevitably have to drop it back down on the ball and any downward force on the ball causes it to bounce up off the putting surface. Once that happens no one can accurately predict how the ball will roll.

Through swing – The Monty move.
There’s a technique which lets you keep the putter square at all times through the stroke. I call it the Monty move because of all the tour players Colin Montgomerie comes closest to the technique naturally. The “Monty Move” is essentially a hinging of the right elbow (right handers) after impact while still maintaining the wrist angle that you began with.

If you can imagine what it looks like to roll a ball underarm like in lawn bowls, it makes the concept of square to square much easier to understand. If cricket is your game, imagine playing a forward defensive shot to a rising ball and you’ll be able to associate the same locked right wrist sensation that stops you spooning a catch.

After the forward press remember to lock the right wrist as if it were set in a plaster cast. Take everything away in one piece but at the point in the through swing when the right bicep reaches vertical (with your elbow pointing at the ground), it remains in that position. The right elbow hinges and allows the putter head to continue square along the ball-target line.

    Rhythm
The relationship between distance, the putter and the Callaway Big Bertha Golf Ball

When your set-up is correct and your straight putt technique is sound you begin to look for a method to master the inch-perfect challenge of the Boomerang. Knowing everything that there is to know about a straight putt won’t get the ball in the hole on its own, you also need to get the pace right.

Both feel and touch come with good rhythm and good rhythm comes from training on the Boomerang. The straight putt technique keeps the ball on the Boomerang and coming back to your feet but it is rhythm that is the key to mastering the challenge. With the Boomerang, we are able to practice rhythm hundreds of times every hour – grooving a stroke like practising tennis against a brick wall.

A few aspects you should pay attention when do putting

    Eye position
It is crucial to view the ball-target line from directly above. If your eyes are over the line, it’s easier to see the line, and if you can see the line, you can hit the line. If your eyes aren’t over the line, you’re not only resorting to guess work but the Maruman Majesty SPI3 Putter also has a habit of following the eyes. What that means is if your eyes are outside the ball-target line the putter has a tendency to move outside the line, if your eyes are inside, the putter will come inside and that doesn’t bode well for consistent putting.

A simple check to ensure that you have your eyes in the right position is to adopt your normal putting stance and drop a ball from the bridge of your nose to check where it lands. Watch the Professionals on the tour and you will see that regularly, they drop a ball from the bridge of the nose to check if their eyes are over the line.

    Ball position.
The sternum is a very handy reference point. But try positioning the ball ahead of the sternum. It will help you to see the ball, your hands and the target all in the same frame. If you have a method of consistently addressing the ball in the same spot, you can eliminate another of the variables.

    Body alignment.
Opening your shoulders and stance a little isn’t detrimental to the stroke. If you shift your pivot point from a central position to the right shoulder (right hander) what you are doing is turning your whole arm into a broomstick. It still functions as a pendulum but it’s less difficult to co-ordinate and much easier to control.

Getting the right lie on your Honma Beres BP-1010 Putter.
The split-line alignment system is the most accurate and legal method that puts your eyes into the perfect position. This entails having two lines on your Taylormade Rossa Daytona Ghost Putter. Usually there is one on the top of the putter. If you add a second one when the putter is perfectly square to the ground, it gives you a lot of information about your putter’s lie angle. By placing two pieces of tape in line with the original alignment aid on the putter, then marking it with white paint or tippex, you will know that every time you get the lines matched up, you have the putter at the perfect lie for you.

Because the hands control the position of the putter as it lies on the ground, by fixing the level of the putter you have just about locked the hands so they wont move around when you make a stroke.

    Straight Putting Technique
Every putt is a straight putt. Imagine if you had a method to propel a ball down any given line as straight as if it had been fired by a gun, that’s a straight putt technique. Here’s how to do it:

Forward press – a safety check.
The final element of a consistent hand position is the forward press. If you putt right-handed, use the back of your right hand as your guide. The back of your hand is flat and the putter face is also flat. If you putt with the back of the right hand ahead of the putter face, there are three immediate results. Firstly a forward press gives you a great strike, secondly, it’s a built-in safety check for your swing TaylorMade Rossa Corza Ghost Putterpath, thirdly, having your hands ahead locks them out of harms way.

If your hands are too low and you push the back of your right hand ahead of the putter face you’ll notice that you’re aligned left of target and the face is closed. If your hands are too high and you push them ahead you’ll see that your alignment goes right and the face opens.

It’s only when your hands are in a neutral position that the Discount Golf rests where it should and a forward press results in correct alignment.

The forward press is a double insurance policy. If your hands are in the correct position, and you press forward not only will the alignment point to the direction where the ball will start, it also points in the opposite direction to the path the putter will travel on the take away.

If you suffer from a loop in your stroke, try putting your hands in the right position in the set-up. Fix the problem before you putt because once you begin the stroke it’s already too late.

By firstly rocking the hands to get the putter sitting flat and then confirming that position with a forward press you have fully eliminated the final variable and one of the biggest causes of inconsistent putting – changeable hands.

Cure your back pains from golf

A lot of golfers always suffered in pain for many years and every round of golf Golf Clubs was a new experience in pain then end up with chronic low back pain.

Everthing has been tried but nothing worked, here is a good way that may cure this fatal problem.

First go see a chiropractor to see if there are any problems with your back that not even he can fix. But if he can fix it, so can you?

It does require a small amount of money for the correct equipment Maruman Majesty Prestigio Irons. You will need a decent inversion table. That will cost about $200, but it is worth it’s weight in gold when it comes to beating the golfers back pain.

If you just can’t afford the inversion table, you can get a pice of plywood about 7 feet by 2 feet and prop one end up with a cinder block. That might set you back about twenty bucks.

I also recommend “7 Steps to a Pain Free Life” by Robin Mckenzie. It will help you speed along what the inversion table helps you achieve. It doesn’t cost much and tells you everyhting you need to know about back and neck pain.

If you can’t afford an inversion table, get the book and start the back “exercises”. (I put that in quotes because I don’t want you to think that you will be doing anything strenuous or hard.). In many cases those exercises will eliminate or reduce the back pain on their own.

Maruman Majesty Prestigio Gold Premium Irons

If you have had lower back pain for several years, nothing you do will make it go away overnight. But overstrectching already damaged tissue is a good way to make it worse.

As for the inversion table, good information on how to use it is a little hard find. I had mine for three years before I finally learned how to use it properly and conquered my back pain for good.

The trick to inversion tables is to invert to only about 20 degrees and stay there for two or three minutes. If your back pain is really severe, you can do this up to five times a day.

Maruman Majesty Prestigio FV-R Iron Set

Once your back pain has somewhat diminished to where you can function, drop back to one or two times a day until the pain disappears. Once the chronic back pain is gone (yes, it is possible), drop back to twice a week.

Each inversion treatment is like an adjustment from a chiropractor. If you feel things getting out of line, treat yourself.

This has served me well when nobody or nothing else could. If you have low back pain, be it from golf or anything else, you can treat it yourself. But you will never feel any better if you don’t work at it.

Last point is how long does it take, Figure about a week of inversion treatments for every year you have had chronic back pain.

It was painful to do anything, believe me when I tell you back pain can be cured and I hardly remember what it is like, best wishes for you!

GW Monday: Tiger’s testy TV interview

If Tiger Woods ever wonders why his Q-rating for likability ranks below disgraced NFL quarterback Michael Vick, he can always cue up the tape of Sunday’s post-round interview with CBS’s Bill Macatee.

    tiger_woods_sunday_masters_470.jpg

Woods has squandered opportunities to win back fans in his post-round remarks. Photo by Getty Images

Even after a thrilling final-round 67 that answered critics in resounding fashion, Woods wiped out any good vibes with clipped answers and a smug detachment that contrasted starkly with the gracious post-round interviews of Geoff Ogilvy, Luke Donald, Jason Day, Adam Scott and most of all, the 21-year-old Rory McIlroy, who shot 80 and would have been well within his rights to abstain from talking.

First, Macatee teed Tiger up with a softball question about his great final-round play. Tiger: “Well, we’ll see. Right now I’m one back, and we’ll see what Adam does.” Fair enough: He still had a chance to win and didn’t want to get ahead of himself. Then Macatee asked Tiger if he felt like he was “back.” Another easy question. Tiger: “Yeah, I’m one back. We’ll see what happens.”

Finally, Macatee asked where he planned to wait out the conclusion. “I’m going to go eat, I’m starving.” Woods is an intense guy, of course — we get it. But so are the rest of the men trying to win the Masters, and they manage to be civil — engaging, even — when talking to TV interviewers after their rounds.

Woods would do well to try and follow their example. The golfing public would eat it up.

TaylorMade burner superfast 2.0 fairway wood review

    TaylorMade Fairway Wood

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Fairway Wood

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Fairway WoodThe TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Fairway Wood features the same Burner SuperFast technology as the TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver, with a lighter, longer shaft, a lighter grip and a larger, more forgiving clubhead. While everything below the hosel has been made lighter, it’s the technology and engineering in the clubhead that provides the most game-improving technology. A low and deep center of gravity provides more power and a high launch-angle for more carry and distance. Behind the clubface, they’ve enhanced the coefficient of restitution with inverted cone technology adds some spring to the clubface to increase ball speeds at the moment of impact for even more distance. TaylorMade has also included the Burner SuperFast 2.0 technology, which engineers each club for more control, higher ball flight and an improved sound and feel.

And your 2011 Masters champion is …

The Masters is less than a month away, and while we still have plenty of good golf tournaments to go, Augusta National is what’s looming in every golfer’s mind.

After last weekend’s Cadillac Championship, featuring the best players in the world at famed Doral, the idea of who could win at Augusta started floating around, and we at Devil Ball have our early pick to win the first major championship of 2011.

That’s right — we here like Matt Kuchar. It would be one of the better golf stories of the year, because Augusta National was where Kuchar first came on the radar in 1998. Then, he was a young talent with a big smile and what looked like an incredible attitude. Now, in 2011, he’s a star, and the type of guy who seems to have the game that fits at the Georgia jewel.
